Love this campground! Quiet and friendly. Beach is wonderful!! We go there all the time.

My one complaint about the campground was that our site did not have a number which made it very difficult to find.

Went up for the 4th of July weekend with the family and really liked the location. Our Tent site was right on the lake which made for amazing views. Sites are fairly big so there was plenty of room for all of our gear.

The campsites on the water are very tight together and there isn't really adequate space between sites for campers with slideouts and their placement of firepits. You do have a lovely spot on the beach to enjoy a view of the sunset on the water.

For the worst experience! This is not a big rig friendly park no matter what the woman in the front office tells you. The park is old and very cramped. The owner/manager does not control the campers or the parking. We drove close to four hours after work to get to a park in chaos. We were told to drive up and find our site which we did. There was someone in our spot so we parked next to them. When we told the manager/owner instead of asking the inconsiderate people that parked in our spot to move he asked us to move to a downgraded site. Maneuvering a big rig in this park is very difficult to say the least. We decided to maneuver ourselves out of the park. They did write us a check for what we paid earlier to reserve that site. Our vacation was ruined because of their ineptness and unwillingness to do the right thing. We stayed in a parking lot that night. Turns out the parking lot was better than Lakeside Camping facilities.

The playground and Beech areas were good and our kids loved the swing set and jungle gym. There were also daily activities run by the campground for the kids to do which made them very happy.

We encountered several issues with this campground. First they do not allow bike riding on the campground property. We have been camping for almost 30 years and have never seen a restriction on bike riding anywhere we have camped. We brought our bikes with us but never used them. Fortunately we did not have our grandchildren with us this time or this would have been a major problem.

We stayed at this campground for a week in July. It is an average family campground that has some nice amenities. It's location on Island Pond offers campers a nice beach area, a large playground and a kayak/canoe launch. The lake has several loon couples and we went to sleep and awoke to their beautiful calls. The sites are large and most can be easily accessed by moderate sized trailers/RVs.

Secondly, they advertise on their website that they have wifi at every site. The wifi was worse than dial-up at our site AND at the office. I had email to check and work to do but most of the time I was either booted off the wifi or couldn't get on it at all. We want to the library or coffee shops to get on the internet.
